Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Complex Chief Engineer to lead maintenance across multiple hotels. You will supervise engineering staff, manage bids, coordinate contracts with vendors, and ensure compliance with safety and sustainability standards.

You will perform inspections, oversee preventive maintenance, and strive to improve guest satisfaction through reliable facility operations and adherence to HHM EarthView guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or trade school coursework in related field preferred.
• Previous engineer/maintenance experience in a hotel setting strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring they perform to brand standards and HHM values.
• Manage and coordinate bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Manage in-house maintenance projects and preventive programs.
• Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.
• Install/repair basic electrical fixtures and replace lighting.
• Install/repair televisions and basic plumbing functions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis and maintain PM records.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal of hotel grounds.
• Test and maintain life safety systems to ensure 100% operability.
