Job summary

HHM Hotels seeks a Chief Engineer to lead maintenance operations on property, ensuring guest comfort and sustainability standards are met. This role oversees PM programs, equipment reliability, and coordination with vendors to uphold brand standards.

You will manage a team, plan small projects and Property Improvement Plans, and ensure compliance with codes while maintaining safety and curb appeal in alignment with EarthView guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school preferred.
• Supervisory engineer/maintenance experience required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Other certifications may be required based on local needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach associates to meet brand standards and HHM values.
• Manage bids, quotes, and contracts for 3rd party vendors.
• Oversee small projects and Property Improvement Plans (PIP) and report on progress.
• Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Install and program televisions and manage equipment and systems.
• Maintain PM records and test life safety systems for 100% operation.
• Coordinate compliance of service contracts with local, state, and Federal codes.
• Maintain exterior and curb appeal following EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Practice safe work habits per MSDS and OSHA standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
