• Professional designations (e.g. CPCU) encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Manages an inventory of complex commercial claims with multi-year exposure.
• Drives exceptional customer service and timely claims processing.
• Verifies coverage and sets reserves per policy language.
• Leads investigations to determine compensability and liability.
• Develops and executes claim resolution strategies with partners and counsel.
• Manages significant claim budgets ensuring timely resolution.
• Explores subrogation/salvage opportunities and fraud referrals.
• Maintains compliance with state/local regulatory requirements.
• Prepares executive loss summaries for senior leadership.
• Mentors junior claim professionals and supports special projects.
