Airbnb is seeking a Senior Complex Claims Manager to safeguard the Aircover platform by identifying, investigating and managing complex and large loss claims. You will work with internal teams and insurers to drive resolution, improve risk strategies, and lead claims leadership globally.

You will partner with Legal, Trust, Safety, Product, and Privacy to strengthen mitigation and ensure policy alignment, reporting into management monthly, quarterly and annually.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years in Insurance Claims Coverage and Litigation with liability/property focus and global exposure
• Portfolio-level leadership: setting strategy and KPIs
• Strong data acumen: analytics with large datasets and metrics
• Advanced knowledge of complex resolution techniques and relevant law
• Excellent communication: clear, concise findings to varied audiences
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams globally and negotiate effectively
• Judgement: timely fair resolutions, interpret policy language, coordinate investigations
• Mentor to others; upskilling teams on processes and changes

Aufgaben

• Assess policy/product impact on risk and exposure for high severity claims
• Lead large loss reviews with insurers and manage reserves
• Craft resolution plans to drive carrier/TPA to closure
• Partner with Legal, Trust, Safety, and Brokers on complex claims resolution
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal requirements
• Build executive dashboards for top drivers, cycle time, and reserves
• Develop end-to-end strategies integrating with Legal and Safety teams
• Author policy changes and manage change across the team
• Train and mentor AirCover Specialists on new processes and workflows
• Act as SME for Airbnb Insurance Programs across departments
• Collaborate with internal teams to share insights and improve handling
