Job summary

Amazon seeks a Senior Risk Manager for Corporate Auto Casualty and Litigation Claims, Logistics Claims Management. Lead strategy on auto bodily injury claims, coordinate with counsel, TPAs, and insurers to contain costs and drive favorable outcomes.

You will develop programs, monitor KPIs, and guide global claims initiatives while traveling up to 10% to support field operations and vendor partnerships.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) is required.
• 7+ years experience adjudication of complex, pre-litigated and litigated bodily injury claims.
• 5+ years experience in transportation claims management, including fleets or large auto claim programs.
• Must have active adjuster license.
• Knowledge of the litigation process and claims handling from inception to resolution.
• Reserve management and financial acumen; experience setting and managing reserves on high-exposure and catastrophic claims.

Responsibilities

• Claims management of complex high value bodily injury and litigated claims.
• Work with business units to implement strategies to limit complex high value claims and contain costs.
• Develop strategy and action plans for claims in tandem with internal/external counsel, TPAs and insurance companies.
• Mediation and settlement strategy and attendance with internal/external legal partners, insurance companies, and TPAs.
• Field and address business partners on-going questions and issues through claims resolution as needed.
