Job summary

SLB in Houston is seeking a Fluids Construction Project Engineer to serve as the customer focal point for product line operations, guiding safe, reliable service delivery and ensuring contract performance across projects.

You will apply advanced hydraulics knowledge to optimize drilling performance, develop project plans, define risks and resource requirements, manage inventory, and review deliverables while coordinating with field teams and finance to resolve issues and drive customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience as completions/drilling engineer in oil & gas.
• Knowledgeable on key SLB product properties, applications, and limitations.
• Knowledgeable on mud properties and their effects on fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the customer to understand high-level goals, plans, and objectives.
• Develop project plan and explore value-added products and services across PLs.
• Define risks, risk mitigation measures, and risk responses for the project
• Manage project inventory value and inventory reconciliation.
• Review the quality and completeness of job deliverables including end of well recap and invoicing documents.
• Proactively identify and resolve invoice disputes.
