Job summary

PagerDuty seeks a Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager to own and run its CI program, partnering with product marketing, product management, marketing and sales to equip teams with sharp differentiation and timely insights.

You will define CI strategy, develop battlecards, train the field, and uncover competitive differentiation with a focus on AI-enabled research and fast, actionable content. The role is hybrid, based in San Francisco, with IT and Digital Operations expertise highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading competitive intelligence for a product or product lines; SaaS B2B preferred.
• Deep fluency in IT and Digital Operations.
• Strong field enablement focus with clear messaging and tools for differentiation.
• Proven ability to frame problems, weigh trade-offs, and synthesize clear solutions.
• Ability to plan work, navigate ambiguity, and deliver high-quality content.
• Ability to organize complex information, simplify, and inspire the field.

Responsibilities

• Define and optimize the competitive intelligence program with cross-functional engagement.
• Equip sales with positioning, messaging, and enablement materials (battlecards, bulletins, training).
• Uncover competitive differentiation; master win/loss and competitor capabilities.
• Monitor competitor activity and report back to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Train field teams on latest competitor intelligence and strategies to win.
• Collaborate with product and PMM to articulate messaging for GTM success.
• Provide independent win/loss views via external interview program and reports.
