Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Compensation Manager to lead the compensation framework from its San Jose, CA headquarters. You will collaborate with HR leaders, recruiters, and business leaders to implement compensation strategies that align with a fast-growing operation.

The role requires deep experience in base and variable pay, merit, promotions, incentive plans, equity, and executive compensation, along with strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent; 8+ years in broad-based compensation.
• Experience in technology company including executive compensation and equity pay.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills across all levels.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead compensation initiatives.
• MBA or CCP/CEP/CECP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and lead all compensation processes (base and variable pay, merit, promotions, incentive plans, equity).
• Prepare analysis and materials for executive management review meetings.
• Design and develop executive compensation philosophy and track market trends.
• Benchmark activities to elevate competitiveness of total compensation.
• Provide leadership for offers to attract and retain top talent including executives.
• Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Leadership to align needs and programs.
• Counsel and educate HR Partners, managers, and executives on compensation policies and guidelines.
• Develop a communications strategy to share compensation information across management levels.
