Job summary
USAA in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Senior Compensation Advisor to serve as a strategic partner to HRBPs and business leaders, guiding compensation programs, market analyses and governance to ensure competitiveness. The role leads projects, advises senior leadership, and develops resources to educate managers on compensation practices.
Office presence is required 4 days a week in San Antonio, Plano, Phoenix or Charlotte. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant education/experience.
- 6+ years of compensation-related work experience or related HR/finance experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of federal and state compensation laws and regulations.
- Experience with market pricing, benchmarking and survey analysis (e.g., using CompAnalyst).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and administer compensation programs, policies, and governance.
- Analyze market data and trends to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Advise senior leadership and HRBPs on compensation strategy and governance.
- Lead enterprise-wide compensation projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Develop learning resources and training on compensation for management.
