Job summary

Rippling, Seattle-based, is seeking a Compensation Programs Lead to own and drive our core compensation programs end-to-end. You will design merit and incentive cycles, ensure readiness across cross-functional teams, and manage the systems powering our planning processes.

You will partner with People Business Partners and Finance to keep programs competitive, affordable, and scalable for a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of compensation experience in high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven track record owning end-to-end compensation cycles with accuracy.
  • Experience designing or supporting variable compensation and equity programs.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing compensation planning through full cycles using software.
  • Strong fundamentals in market pricing, job architecture, leveling, and pay equity.
  • Clear, direct communicator able to translate compensation concepts for managers and executives.
  • Product-minded approach to designing user-friendly, scalable programs.
  • Comfort with AI tools to streamline processes and reduce manual work.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end compensation strategy, planning, and cycle execution across annual and mid-year reviews.
  • Act as operating partner to People Business Partners, removing blockers and guiding managers.
  • Partner with Finance on budgets and rationale behind numbers throughout planning cycles.
  • Leverage RipplingAI and other tools to automate benchmarking, budgeting, and communications.
  • Translate requirements into workflows and tooling for scalable compensation programs.
  • Lead market analysis, keep pay equity and regulatory considerations current.
