Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to serve as the dedicated compensation resource for the Product and Technology organization. You will support Executive, VP and Director level leaders, partnering with HRBPs to design and implement compensation programs.

The role involves market benchmarking, leadership enablement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive fair and competitive compensation strategies in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of compensation expertise.
  • End-to-end ownership of cyclical compensation programs for customer organizations.
  • Experience with third-party survey methodologies (e.g., Radford and WTW) to build pay structures across geographies and functions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional compensation initiatives in fast-moving environments.
  • Strong communication skills to present complex compensation data to senior business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as dedicated compensation partner for the Product and Technology organization, supporting senior leaders and HR Partners.
  • Act as the primary contact for offers, equity reviews, leveling decisions, and out-of-cycle requests.
  • Own compensation cycle execution end-to-end, including benchmarking and budgeting.
  • Lead competitive intelligence on compensation trends and pay practices across roles and geographies.
  • Develop benchmarking methodologies that combine survey data with recruiting signals and real-time market sources.
  • Partner with Recruiting to provide market insights for hires at all levels.
  • Lead global projects such as comp tooling implementation and job architecture.
  • Create enablement materials to help managers understand compensation philosophy.
