Sempra is seeking a compensation and benefits professional to deliver advanced support across job evaluation, market pricing, and compliance oversight. You will develop pay equity analyses and salary recommendations while guiding executive pay and benefits programs.

The role involves collaboration with HR partners, payroll, and legal to ensure accurate, equitable compensation practices and regulatory alignment within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of related experience.
• Preferred: experience in executive compensation, equity compensation, stock plan administration, deferred compensation plan administration, and/or executive benefits administration.
• Professional licenses such as CCP, CEBS, CECP, and CEP are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conducts job evaluation and market pricing for assigned roles, matches jobs to survey benchmarks, and recommends hiring ranges.
• Builds salary recommendations that balance external competitiveness with internal equity and budget considerations.
• Designs recurring analytics on pay equity and benefits utilization and presents insights to human resources partners.
• Interprets and applies federal and state requirements for pay and benefits and updates procedures accordingly.
• Creates manager toolkits and employee communications that explain pay structures, incentive eligibility, and benefit options.
