Job summary

Neuberger is seeking an experienced Compensation professional to lead advisory and analytics-driven insights within the HCM Compensation and Analytics team. You will influence pay decisions, internal equity, and market positioning while collaborating with People Analytics to drive data-backed decisions.

The role emphasizes benchmarking, job architecture, and designing compensation programs, with opportunities to build AI-powered tools and improve efficiency across cycles.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of compensation experience with advisory to leaders.
• Experience with McLagan benchmarking and translating market data into recommendations.
• Experience supporting job architecture and leveling efforts.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and communicate insights.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SQL/Python/R preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree or professional certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic compensation advisory support to HR Business Partners and leaders.
• Design, implement, and maintain compensation programs, policies, and practices.
• Lead benchmarking activities and translate market data into recommendations.
• Support job architecture, job family mapping, and documentation with stakeholders.
• Partner with People Analytics to define analytical needs and apply insights.
• Manage annual compensation cycle deliverables with HR and Finance partners.
• Develop communications and change management materials for program updates.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis on compensation, workforce trends, and design.
• Identify AI-powered tools to automate cycles and improve insights.
• Ensure compensation practices comply with internal policies and regulations.
• Build relationships across HR, Finance, and the business.
