The Weitz Company is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst in Des Moines, IA to join our HR team. You will analyze and optimize compensation programs to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and alignment with business strategy.

You will deliver data-driven insights, partner with HR leadership, and support compensation governance. Role requires 5+ years in compensation, strong Excel and Workday skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive compensation experience.
• Experience with benchmarking, market studies, and annual adjustments.
• CCP coursework or certification is a plus.
• Degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex compensation analyses, including salary benchmarking and market pricing.
• Administer compensation adjustments, planning, modeling, and post-cycle analyses.
• Manage external compensation surveys and analyze results for recommendations.
• Identify pay gaps and equity issues; propose actionable solutions to HR leadership.
• Develop compensation strategies, governance practices, and reporting for leadership.
• Prepare clear compensation reports, dashboards, and presentations.
