Job summary

The Nagler Group is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join its Human Resources team in Watertown, MA. The role focuses on administration, analysis, and development of compensation programs, partnering with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of compensation experience, expertise in market pricing, salary administration, job evaluations, and analytics, with strong Excel and HRIS skills (UKG preferred). Hybrid schedule with three onsite days.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive compensation experience.
• Strong knowledge of market pricing, salary administration, job evaluation, and compensation analysis.
• Experience supporting annual merit and compensation planning cycles.
• Knowledge of pay equity, FLSA, wage and hour regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with HRIS; UKG experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and help lead the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, bonuses, and incentive programs.
• Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking.
• Maintain salary structures, pay ranges, job levels, and compensation guidelines.
• Prepare compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes.
• Conduct job evaluations and support job leveling and classification.
• Perform pay equity and internal equity analyses.
• Develop compensation models, reporting, and cost-impact analyses.
• Maintain accurate compensation and employee data within HR systems.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance on compensation-related reporting and data needs.
• Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data.
• Support compensation compliance, documentation, audits, and process improvements.
• Provide compensation guidance and recommendations to HR and business leaders.
