Job summary

Citizens Energy Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, administer, and improve pay programs. You will lead market pricing, job evaluation, salary structure maintenance, and modeling, while ensuring equity, compliance, and governance.

You will partner with HR, Finance, and leadership to provide data-driven insights for talent strategy, planning, and pay decisions. The role requires strong analysis, collaboration, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in compensation, analytics, or related role.
• Experience with market pricing, surveys, salary structures and evaluations.
• Strong analytical skills to assess equity and trends.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivots, lookups and data validation.
• Experience with HRIS or compensation systems and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and maintenance of salary structures and pay grades.
• Conduct market pricing using surveys and benchmark data.
• Analyze internal equity, external competitiveness and pay trends.
• Prepare compensation recommendations for hires, promotions and adjustments.
• Develop compensation models and cost analyses for planning.
