Job summary

Assurant seeks a Senior Compensation Analyst to partner with Global Compensation, Finance, and People Business Partners. You will transform complex compensation data into actionable insights, manage market pricing, job evaluation, and annual programs, and provide stakeholder-ready analyses.

You will help advance automation, AI-enabled tools, and standardized reporting while monitoring market trends and regulatory developments across the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Compensation, Total Rewards, or related field.
• Experience with market pricing, job evaluation, and salary surveys.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to augment processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex compensation concepts for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage recurring compensation programs, processes, analyses, and complex stakeholder requests.
• Conduct job evaluations, market pricing, benchmarking, and salary survey activities; interpret findings and develop well-supported recommendations.
• Evaluate job responsibilities, organizational context, internal compensation relationships, and external market practices to assess role scope, level, and competitive positioning.
• Analyze compensation trends, salary movement, incentive outcomes, pay equity, and other workforce compensation matters.
• Build market-pricing analyses, financial and scenario models, dashboards, recurring and ad hoc reports, and executive-ready presentations.
• Support the design, planning, testing, execution, and evaluation of annual compensation programs, including merit, promotion, salary-planning, and incentive processes.
