Job summary

Graphic Packaging International seeks a Compensation Advisor to join our Total Rewards team in Atlanta, GA. The role will develop, implement, and administer compensation and incentive programs, and serve as a compensation expert to leadership and HR across designated units.

You will collaborate on salary structures, participate in market analyses, and drive improvements in pay practices while ensuring compliance with laws. A senior, strategic partner with strong analytics is ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
• 10+ years HR/Compensation related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with good business insight.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated project leadership skills.
• Demonstrated planning, organizational and execution skills.
• Strong internal consulting skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with HRIS/Time System implementations
• Thorough knowledge of domestic pay regulations
• Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Provides compensation advice and collaborates with leaders and HR team members to provide sound recommendations on re-organizations, job evaluations, salary administration, merit planning, and other compensation programs and incentive practices.
• Assists in the development and implementation of the global job architecture, geographic structures, and rate range structures.
• Participates in compensation surveys, analyzes results, and tracks market movements in pay and incentive data.
• Assists in the communication of compensation philosophy, salary review processes, and incentive programs as required.
• Participates in the design and development of automated tools to improve the speed, efficiency, and quality of compensation information available to employees and managers.
• Participates in the implementation of regular compensation activities including the annual compensation review process.
• Serves as a subject matter expert in all areas of employee compensation and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Participates in the development and/or redesign of short-term and sales incentive plans.
• Analyzes current compensation programs and practices and makes on-going recommendations for process improvements.
• Supports Global Mobility programs.
• Participates in and/or leads special compensation-related projects as assigned.
