Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking a Senior Territory Manager to drive Animal Health products across the Eugene, Bend and surrounding Oregon clinics and facilities.

You will build account plans, identify opportunities, and work with field partners to execute pull-through strategies in a customer-centric model. The role requires extensive travel (overnight and some weekends) and strong relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills to deliver value and scientific solutions to veterinary

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 10+ years of sales or a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight and some weekends.
• Collaborative in field sales teams and customer-centric mindset.
• Knowledge of Animal Health products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates about our product portfolio to customers with relevance.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; builds relationships with decision makers.
• Develops territory and account plans with partners to drive growth.
• Analyzes monthly sales results and manages expenses within budget.
• Collaborates with leadership to deliver relevant offerings addressing customer needs.
• Maintains knowledge of Animal Health products and market trends.
