Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned organization, is seeking a skilled Community Planner to lead installation planning at Eglin AFB, FL. You will drive development plans, conduct advanced land-use analyses, and coordinate with engineering, environmental, and operations teams to ensure mission-aligned growth.

The role requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) and extensive experience with installation planning and security clearance.

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship
• Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Community Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s + 18+ years (8 years substituted for Master’s) OR 12+ years experience in lieu of a degree
• Secret security clearance required
• Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD or similar planning/mapping tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on complex planning projects
• Knowledge of Air Force and DoD planning standards preferred

Responsabilidades

• Lead development, review, and updates of installation development plans, area development plans, and facility-space optimization strategies
• Analyze land use, environmental impact, and infrastructure needs to support mission planning
• Coordinate with engineering, environmental, and operations teams to align community planning with goals
• Prepare and present high-level reports, briefings, and recommendations to leadership
• Ensure compliance with Air Force, DoD, and federal regulations for installation planning
• Facilitate community engagement activities, including public meetings and interagency coordination
• Track planning metrics, project milestones, and resource utilization
• Mentor junior planners and contribute to team professional development
