Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support critical facilities, infrastructure, and engineering initiatives at Eglin AFB. The role provides technical leadership and expertise to support mission readiness and long-term infrastructure planning.

The ideal candidate blends technical excellence with practical problem-solving, working with government personnel, contractors, and facility stakeholders to ensure mechanical systems and assets are planned, managed, and sustained

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years experience; or 12+ years with no Master’s.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years experience.
• Experience with facilities, infrastructure, asset management, construction, or related engineering programs.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, facility operations, lifecycle asset management.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level mechanical engineering support for facility, infrastructure, and asset management programs.
• Assist Government engineers with Asset Management Plans and sustainment initiatives.
• Review design packages, studies, construction documents, and proposals for compliance with objectives and standards.
• Provide technical consulting, project coordination, and recommendations for sustainment and modernization.
• Analyze facility and mechanical asset data to support lifecycle management and mission readiness.
• Conduct facility surveys, inspections, and site assessments for evaluations and project development.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and HVAC personnel to resolve technical issues and ensure system performance.
• Maintain and manage engineering and asset data in BUILDER, NexGen, and related databases.
• Support project planning, resource management, and execution through engineering analysis.
• Prepare engineering documentation and briefings for leadership decisions.
