Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a proactive Community Manager to oversee a residential property in San Antonio, ensuring daily operations, leasing, and staff coordination are executed with excellence.

You will lead budgeting, marketing, and resident relations while maintaining compliance with company policies and fair housing laws. This on-site role requires commitment, teamwork, and the ability to respond to emergencies effectively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years housing industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under Regional Manager supervision.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff; ensure effective performance.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor financials.
• Lead leasing, marketing plans, and resident retention initiatives.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and timely reporting and documentation.
• Respond to emergencies and manage client and resident relations to maintain high satisfaction.
