Job summary

Wallick Communities is hiring a Community Manager in Covington, KY. You will lead leasing and maintenance staff, manage payroll, and oversee rent collections and vendor invoices at River's Edge. The role emphasizes occupancy targets, resident relations, and operational compliance to uphold Wallick’s community standards.

This full-time position offers a competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits; experience with HUD/Section 8 is a plus, and the schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year as a residential property manager or 3 years in a general manager role with leadership
• Education: High School diploma or Associate degree; COS/LIHTC/HCCP/AHM a plus
• Dependability: Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
• Resident focus: Commitment to exceptional service for residents
• Operational excellence: Deadline driven, detail-oriented, compliant
• Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office; Yardi experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance staff to deliver great resident experiences
• Process community staff payroll
• Ensure rent collections are received and deposited
• Process invoices and purchase supplies for the community
• Maintain occupancy levels (minimum 98%) and positive owner/resident relationships
• Complete move-out paperwork and inspections timely; review resident files for accuracy
• Prepare government or company-required reports and maintain community standards
