Job summary

Dominium Management Services is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee multiple properties on a floating basis, filling vacancies and guiding special projects. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and resident relations to ensure compliant, financially sound operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in multifamily property management, knowledge of Section 42/Section 8 programs, and strong leadership with proficiency in Yardi and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in multifamily property management.
• Tax credit and affordable housing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior customer service and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Thorough understanding of housing laws and regulations, especially affordable housing.
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt quickly to different properties' needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations at a property (or properties) in a floating capacity, ensuring leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Leads small specialty projects within the portfolio to improve operations, resident satisfaction, or compliance.
• Ensures compliance with applicable housing programs and local laws.
• Supervises site personnel and assigns responsibilities.
• Sets schedules and allocates staff for proper community management.
• Implements rent collection processes and monitors budget adherence.
• Provides performance updates to Regional Manager and VP of Property Management.
• Interacts with residents to maintain good communication and resolve issues.
• Processes applicant files for screening per housing programs.
• Stays current on federal, state, and local housing regulations.
• Supports leasing efforts, including processing applications and leases.
• Provides on-site training to staff as needed.
