Dominium is a mission-driven affordable housing company with offices across the United States, including Minneapolis. We seek a Senior Community Manager to oversee floating property operations, staff, and resident relations, ensuring compliant, financially sound performance.

You will lead leasing, maintenance, and resident relations, drive small portfolio projects, and ensure compliance with Section 42/8 programs. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in multifamily property management.
• Tax credit and affordable housing experience strongly preferred.
• Proficient in property management software (Yardi preferred).
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to travel frequently and adapt quickly to different properties’ needs.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations at a property (or properties) in a floating capacity.
• Leads small specialty projects within the portfolio to improve operations, resident satisfaction, or compliance.
• Ensures compliance with housing programs and local laws and company policies.
• Supervises site personnel and establishes schedules for proper management and maintenance.
• Manages rent collection processes, budget adherence, and financial procedures.
• Provides property performance updates to Regional Manager and VP of Property Management.
• Supports leasing efforts, including processing applications and executing leases.
• Provides on-site training to staff as needed.
