Job summary

Aurora Health Care is seeking a Programs & Community Engagement Coordinator to advance the Beacon’s community-centered ecosystem in Milwaukee. The role will coordinate milestones, engage diverse stakeholders, support activation activities, and drive continuous improvement across partnerships and programs.

Responsibilities include planning events, managing communications, and analyzing metrics to demonstrate impact while collaborating across departments to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in community engagement, healthcare administration, nonprofit management, public health, project management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program and project milestones, dependencies, risks, and next steps to ensure timely progress.
• Lead community engagement efforts to strengthen visibility, credibility, and relationships within Milwaukee communities.
• Plan and execute pre-opening and ongoing community activation activities, events, advisory meetings, and partner convenings.
• Evaluate launch readiness, partner onboarding, and community-facing activation efforts.
• Develop storytelling and awareness-building strategies around The Beacon’s community impact initiatives.
• Develop, track, and analyze metrics related to program performance and engagement; interpret data for improvements.
• Collaborate across departments and lead special projects to advance organizational priorities.
