Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Senior Commissioning Agent to lead commissioning activities on major projects and serve as the main client contact. This role expects travel to site locations and strong MEP/controls expertise to ensure successful tests, training, and documentation.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in mechanical/electrical disciplines, PE or senior technician credentials, and solid experience with Excel/Office tools. HDR values engineer-led, collaborative problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines.
• Willing to travel to site locations as reasonably needed by HDR.
• Licensed PE or senior field technician with strong MEP knowledge (T&B).
• Strong computer skills and effective typing abilities.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Be the main client HDR contact and lead all Commissioning activities on the project.
• Adhere to budgeted man-hours and deliver commissioning services.
• Coordinate with client and assist contractors in scheduling commissioning tasks: plans, checklists, tests, training, and reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
