Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Commissioning Agent to lead commissioning activities on complex projects, coordinating with clients and HDR teams to ensure performance and quality. The role requires strong knowledge of MEP systems, and a readiness to travel to various site locations across Texas and beyond.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 8 years of experience, a PE license or equivalent field expertise, and excellent communication and organizational skills to manage plans, tests, and documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of industry experience with mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines.
• Must be willing to travel to site-based locations as reasonably required.
• Licensed PE or experienced field technician with strong MEP systems and HVAC controls knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact between the client and HDR and direct and manage all Commissioning activities on the project.
• Adhere to budgeted man-hours and execute commissioning services.
• Coordinate with the client and assist the contractors in scheduling commissioning activities (plans, pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, training plans, O&M, record document and shop drawing reviews and etc).
• Perform other duties as needed.
