Job summary

MBP is seeking a Senior Cx Agent/Engineer to deliver commissioning services on large-scale higher education projects in New Haven, CT. The role requires 5–10 years of HVAC/mechanical system commissioning experience and leadership on complex projects.

You will lead Cx activities from design through warranty, engage clients, and help develop scope and proposals while collaborating with MBP teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with owners, designers, contractors, MBP teams.
• Strong problem-solving to identify root causes and provide practical solutions.
• Experience performing field observations, testing, and documentation during construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects for major new/renovated/existing buildings; manage scope, schedule, budget.
• Engage with clients, understand their commissioning needs, and support proposals.
• Assist in scope and fee development; tailor marketing proposals to the project.
