Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Eight to ten years of underwriting experience in commercial lines.
• CPCU designation highly preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Deep knowledge of commercial lines products and local insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Manage profitability, growth and retention of a high-complexity book of business.
• Underwrite and negotiate highly complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with internal partners to create sales plans and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Travel to meet agents and brokers to market and sell Travelers products and write/retain accounts.
