Job summary
Key Equipment Finance, part of KeyBank, seeks a Commercial Transaction Manager to lead highly structured, strategic financing transactions. You will independently drive opportunities from review to funding, coordinating with Sales, Capital Markets, Credit, Legal, and partner institutions.
The role requires senior expertise in equipment finance, syndicated and multi-investor structures, and advanced documentation negotiations, with strong leadership and risk-management capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business/finance-related field.
- 10+ years of equipment/structured finance or related industry experience.
- Experience negotiating complex documentation and leading multi-stakeholder transactions.
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to influence and lead across organizations without direct authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead the most complex, structured transactions from opportunity review through closing and funding.
- Negotiate financing documents with customers, counsel, and partner institutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Capital Markets, Credit, Legal, Tax, and other stakeholders on structure and risk.
- Serve as subject matter expert for complex transactions and documentation strategies.
- Mentor Contract Managers and Account Managers on best practices in structuring and risk management.
