Job summary

Key Equipment Finance, a division of Key Bank National Association, seeks a seasoned equipment finance professional to identify, develop and close end‑user lease transactions across its territory. You will manage a $45MM book, travel 25%+ and collaborate with Credit, BPU and Syndications teams to structure true lease deals.

Required are a business/finance degree, 6+ years in equipment leasing sales, and strong selling and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 6+ equipment leasing industry sales experience with a focus on end-user relationships; proven leasing selling skills, time and territory management skills, training and presentation skills, computer skills and effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Solid background in selling tax and non-tax related products, a good understanding and application of both financial and credit analysis; a working knowledge of computer-based pricing models and customer relationship management software.
• Accomplished time management skills to maintain a territory within a designated area.
• Ability to handle overnight travel approx. 5-6 nights per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage a territory of approximately $45MM and build client relationships.
• Travel more than 25% of the time, with 5-6 nights per month.
• Develop and close end-user-based equipment finance transactions.
• Structure and price lease transactions to meet business objectives.
• Collaborate across Credit, BPU, and Syndications / KeyBanc Capital Markets teams.
• Adhere to KeyBank policies and professional conduct.
• Cover middle market and small corporate companies meeting credit criteria.
