Job summary

KeyBank, through Key Equipment Finance, seeks a Commercial Transaction Manager to lead highly structured financing transactions from opportunity review to funding. You will negotiate complex documentation, coordinate with Sales, Credit, and Legal, and serve as a subject matter expert across KEF’s Transaction Cycle Management.

The role requires deep expertise in equipment finance, capital markets, and risk management, with leadership across multiple teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 10+ years in equipment or commercial finance, banking, or legal documentation.
• Expertise in structuring complex transactions and negotiating documentation.
• Experience negotiating legal documents with customers, counsel, and banks.
• Deep knowledge of equipment finance products, syndications, and capital markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead KEF's most complex, structured transactions from review to closing.
• Manage multi-party financing structures and non-standard arrangements.
• Lead negotiations of financing documents with customers, counsel, and investors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Capital Markets, Credit, Legal, and other stakeholders to fulfill customer needs while managing risk.
• Serve as escalation point for documentation and negotiation questions.
• Identify risks and document solutions to mitigate them.
