Job summary

Everon is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support routine and emergency service calls across our client sites in the United States. You will troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment under supervision, while coaching others and delivering exceptional customer service.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems, along with strong knowledge of local codes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Vocational Training required.
• Minimum 5+ years of field experience.
• Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with others.
• Knowledge of test equipment: multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls.
• Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning equipment.
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others.
• Delivers reliable customer support and instruction on system operation.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Documents service hours and activities promptly.
• Completes required task-related documentation and on-call travel as needed.
