Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Manager for our Nashville shop. You will operate the service department, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, profitability, and top-tier customer service.

Responsibilities include planning, estimating, coordinating with field crews, and reporting financials to the President. The role requires expertise in roofing systems, sales, reading blueprints, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and/or experience with all types of roofing.
• Ability to sell, estimate and develop new business.
• Able to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Strong computer skills; write reports, scopes and proposals.
• Ability to manage a TEAM / department of 10+ individuals.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals for duties assigned.
• Review estimates, inspections, letters, scopes, proposals and invoices for service work.
• Schedule and coordinate with field crews and office staff.
• Develop and execute a departmental sales plan.
• Ensure customer service needs are exceeded; manage past due accounts.
• Attend meetings with owners, property managers and contractors to pursue new work.
• Issue proposals and/or estimates for service-related work.
• Report monthly financials to the President.
• Review training needs and ensure staff development.
