Job summary

Empire Roofing, a Tecta America Company, seeks a Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead the Nashville, TN service department. You will plan objectives, oversee bids and invoices, and drive customer service and profitability while coordinating with field crews and office staff.

Responsibilities include staffing decisions, sales planning, and ensuring safety training. The role requires strong roofing knowledge, sales ability, and leadership of a 10+ person team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and/or experience with all types of roofing.
• Able to sell, estimate and develop new business.
• Able to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Strong computer skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; write reports, scopes and proposals.
• Ability to manage a TEAM / department of 10+ people.
• Respond to calls within 24 hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and establish objectives and goals for duties assigned.
• Oversee flow of documents (final invoice/estimation) and final delivery of proposals.
• Review estimates, inspections, letters, scopes, proposals, and invoices for service work.
• Monitor and lead subordinates; hire/fire within policy with HR/OUP approvals.
• Maintain open lines of communication with customers, management, and employees.
• Develop and execute a departmental sales plan to grow service work.
• Report monthly financials to the President.
• Schedule safety, material, and procedure trainings; ensure high-level performance.
