Job summary

Metalmaster Roofmaster is seeking an experienced field sales professional for commercial roofing. You will generate owner-direct opportunities, conduct roof inspections, develop quotes, negotiate, and close contracts, taking opportunities through signed agreements.

The role requires 5–10 years in commercial roofing sales or a proven estimating/ sales record with direct pipeline ownership. You will cover McHenry, the Chicago metro, and Southern Wisconsin, engaging building owners and contractors

Qualifications

5–10 years of commercial roofing sales experience or proven sales record.
Evidence of self-generated B2B pipeline and closed business.
Knowledge of TPO/EPDM/PVC/modified bitumen is a plus.
Ability to read roof plans and construction documents.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work on rooftops.

Responsibilities

Generate commercial roof-replacement opportunities through direct prospecting and field activity.
Build and manage owner-direct pipeline across McHenry, Chicago metro, and Southern Wisconsin.
Develop relationships with owners, managers, facilities directors, and contractors.
Conduct site visits and inspections to document scope, materials, labor, and schedule.
Create quotes/proposals for ordinary replacement and re-roofing; bring estimating into large opportunities.
Present proposals, respond to RFQs/RFPs, negotiate, and close profitable work.
Pass completed scope to estimating, PM, and operations.
Attend pre-bid and job meetings as required.
Track market activity and maintain disciplined follow-up.
