Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sales Estimator for reroofing in the Northwest Chicago suburbs. This role blends fieldwork with estimating, from initial inspection through proposal and close.

You will meet with building owners, perform roof measurements, assess conditions, develop reroofing scopes, and present proposals. Travel across Chicagoland, Southern Wisconsin and Northwest Indiana with a company pickup truck.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial roofing background with reroofing experience.
• Proven ability to sell commercial roofing projects.
• Capable of inspecting and evaluating existing roofs in the field.
• Experience with field measurements, takeoffs and core samples.
• Able to develop project scope and build own estimate.
• Comfortable meeting customers, presenting proposals and selling.
• Knowledge of pricing, labor, materials and project requirements.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel the territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commercial reroofing opportunities.
• Meet with building owners, property managers and commercial customers.
• Travel to customer locations and jobsites within Chicagoland, Southern Wisconsin & Northwest Indiana.
• Perform roof inspections and assess conditions; take measurements and core samples.
• Identify reroofing systems and project scopes; prepare estimates from field data.
• Enter estimates and activity into company software; prepare and present proposals.
• Manage opportunities from inspection through close; build long-term client relationships.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline using Salesforce; collaborate with operations after sale.
