Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Roofing Estimator for a well-established union commercial roofing contractor in West Chicago, IL. The role offers a base salary of $100,000–$140,000 with excellent benefits and relocation availability.

You'll estimate commercial roofing projects from review through bid submission, perform takeoffs, price diverse roofing systems, attend site visits, and collaborate with project teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Strong knowledge of low-slope commercial roofing systems.
• Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen and/or BUR.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and scopes.
• Experience with commercial/industrial/government projects.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Collaborative approach with smaller team.

Responsibilities

• Estimate commercial roofing projects from initial review through bid submission.
• Complete takeoffs and prepare accurate estimates.
• Estimate TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, BUR, and other systems.
• Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings.
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors on pricing.
• Identify project requirements, logistics and potential challenges.
• Support project handoff after award.
