- Minimum 4 years of estimating experience in commercial/retail construction.
- Experience with tenant improvements, retail builds, or ground-up projects.
- Ability to review drawings, specs, and bid documents to determine requirements.
- Proficiency with Excel and estimating software; strong takeoff skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial/retail projects.
- Review drawings, specs, and bid docs to determine requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and subs.
- Solicit and compare subcontractor proposals to ensure competitiveness.
- Manage a high volume of bids and meet deadlines.
- Handoff estimates to operations after award.
