Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Service Plumber III to service commercial plumbing systems across hospitals, schools, offices, and industrial sites. You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install hydronic, domestic water, drainage, and medical gas systems as a journeyman expert, mentoring junior plumbers and leading complex service calls.

In this safety-sensitive, field-based role, you will ensure code-compliant, reliable solutions, follow IPC/UPC, document work thoroughly, and collaborate to minimize

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hands-on commercial plumbing service.
• Journeyman-level proficiency diagnosing and resolving advanced system issues independently.
• High school diploma or GED; trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid journeyman license; backflow certification preferred; medical gas certification if applicable.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and work in field-based environments; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex commercial plumbing systems.
• Lead service calls from start to finish with customer communication.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Ensure compliance with IPC/UPC codes and safety standards.
• Document service activities and maintain records.
• Mentor junior plumbers (Levels I–II).
