Job summary

Onity Group Inc. seeks a Portfolio Manager, Commercial Servicing to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. You will serve as the primary contact for borrowers and investors, manage delinquencies, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve loan issues with professionalism.

The role requires customer-facing excellence, collaboration with portfolio analysts, and adherence to investor servicing guidelines. A four-year degree and 2+ years in loan servicing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Four year degree from an accredited University preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years of loan servicing experience required
• High attention to detail
• Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, Outlook, CoPilot, and other information processing programs
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is considered a plus
• Self-motivated and works independently
• Customer service oriented

• Ability to perform complex calculations using calculators and systems
• Ability to reason and exercise sound judgment
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

Responsibilities

• Maintain frequent contact with borrowers and/or third-party representatives as the elevated point of contact regarding the status of the account; respond to investor requests; obtain payment arrangements as needed
• Maintain professionalism during all interactions
• Perform daily customer service activities including contacting delinquent borrowers and assisting with repayment options; document the reason for delinquency and other notes
• Review daily reports to identify workflow priority
• Support Portfolio Analyst to monitor delinquent loans and pursue actions to resolve delinquencies
• Analyze property operating statements and rent rolls as part of Watchlist monitoring
• Assist in resolving significant property issues and seek borrower rectification
• Administer portfolio Watchlist reporting to identify issues
• Coordinate with internal departments for investor requirements and borrower requests
• Complete borrower requests with required documentation and analysis
• Assist with audits and update internal policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
