Job summary

Onity Group Inc. in the United States seeks a Manager of Commercial Servicing Operations to lead a team of Asset Managers and Portfolio Managers overseeing CRE loans, including CBMS, debt funds and SFR.

You will hire, train, and evaluate staff while handling escalated items for Investors and Borrowers. This role demands strong portfolio oversight, reporting, covenant monitoring, and collaboration with multiple business units.

Qualifications

• Four year degree from an accredited university preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of CRE loan servicing experience.
• 1–2 years in a leadership position preferred.
• Full understanding of the CRE loan life cycle from onboarding through Mortgage Satisfaction.
• Prior experience with CMBS, RMBS, SFR Portfolio loans, and/or CREFC reporting requirements is a plus.
• High attention to detail; strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and related information processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex Borrower and Investor matters and manage relationships with Borrowers, Investors, Master Servicers and third parties.
• Lead and train a team of Asset Managers and Portfolio Managers to ensure timely and accurate loan servicing activity and borrower requests.
• Analyze portfolio trends and servicing metrics to identify risks and opportunities and report to senior management.
• Maintain understanding of servicing agreements and ensure contractual compliance across units.
• Communicate reporting needs to other departments to build out client and Onity reports.
• Prepare and review management reports, portfolio summaries, and team performance metrics.
