Job summary

First Financial Bank in Bowling Green, KY / Lexington, KY / Brentwood, TN is seeking a Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager to oversee commercial loan relationships, ensure credit compliance, and drive portfolio strategy within a collaborative team.

You will partner with senior lenders, perform annual loan reviews, monitor covenants, coordinate financial data flows, and support due diligence and post-closing activities to maintain strong credit quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• 5–10 years of commercial lending or credit administration experience required.
• Strong knowledge of credit principles and commercial loan documentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work across teams and manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial lenders to manage new and existing commercial loan relationships.
• Complete annual reviews and monitor term loan performance including covenant tracking.
• Manage the receipt and delivery of financial statements to credit analysts and internal systems.
• Clear financial, insurance, and post-closing audit exceptions with internal teams.
• Collaborate with credit analysts to ensure financial spreads are completed and filed.
• Order credit reports, UCC searches, appraisals, flood determinations, and other pre-closing items.
• Fulfill client needs for amortization schedules, loan documentation, and post-closing inquiries.
• Track maturity dates to ensure timely financial collection and loan renewals.
• Work cross-functionally to support portfolio operations and maintain compliance.
• Support leadership with special initiatives and reporting.
