Job summary

Western Alliance Bank, a subsidiary of Western Alliance Bancorporation, is seeking a Loan Operations Administrator in the Carmel Valley area. You will close and disburse loans, gather borrower documents, and coordinate with Documentation, Compliance, and Lending Origination Officers to ensure accurate, complete loan packages.

You will also prepare boarding submissions, ensure proper fee collection at closing, and manage post-closing follow-up.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience in Loan Administration, Lending and/or Deposit Sales or a similar field.
• High school diploma required.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations.
• Entry to intermediate regulatory and legal compliance knowledge.
• Knowledge of one or more loan types.
• Proficient in multi-tasking in a team oriented environment with strong client service.
• Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Loan Operations Team Lead by processing loan requests prepared by Lending Origination Officers and prepare loan packages for review.
• Prepare file submissions for boarding and disburse loan proceeds; ensure fees are collected at closing and follow up on post-closing exceptions.
• Monitor tickler files and research credit inquiries and UCC filings to determine credit worthiness and collateral positioning.
