Job summary

Susser Bank is seeking a Sr Loan Closing Specialist to lead pre-closing review and preparation for Commercial Lending and Real Estate loans. You will ensure accuracy of credit, appraisals, and closing documents while coordinating with title companies, attorneys, and relationship staff to ensure timely closings.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent and at least three years of financial institution experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• Three years of job-related and customer service experience in a financial institution.
• Proficiency with loan documentation preparation and review.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of loan closing processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-funding QC and review loan files for credit, appraisal, occupancy, and compliance.
• Prepare loan documents for CRE, term loans, lines of credit, construction loans, SBA, and more.
• Review attorney-prepared documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce renewals and term changes as needed.
• Coordinate with title company, bank officer, and attorney to ensure closing readiness.
• Finalize pre-funding checklist to match loan approval and pre-approved terms.
• Communicate with internal and external parties involved in closings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
