Job summary

Susser Bank seeks an SBA Loan Closer & Coordinator to manage loan closings with accuracy and strict regulatory compliance. You will coordinate with borrowers, lenders, title companies, attorneys and underwriters to prepare and review documentation, ensure eligibility, and secure timely funding.

Responsibilities include preparing borrower checklists within 48 hours of file assignment, ordering third party reports, maintaining origination and servicing records, and safeguarding the SBA Guaranty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma accepted with relevant SBA experience.
• 3–5 years SBA loan processing/closing experience.
• Knowledge of SBA SOPs and loan documentation systems.
• Proficient with LaserPro and DocuSign.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of Bank regulations incl. BSA.
• Provide timely customer service to clients and partners.
• Assist in collecting documents for underwriting.
• Review loan files to determine closing information.
• Prepare Borrower Checklist within 48 hours of file assignment.
• Coordinate calls to review lender commitments and closing requirements.
• Order third party searches and ensure underwriter review.
• Input and maintain files in origination software.
• Prepare SBA applications and closing documents.
• Safeguard SBA Guaranty and review authorization.
• Maintain loan documentation reflecting approved terms.
• Coordinate closing with title, attorneys, etc.
• Ensure funds disbursement per SOP and post fees.
• Pre-Closing audit and post-closing ticklers within 90 days.
• Communicate effectively with all parties.
• Attend specialty courses.
• Assist management in policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
