Job summary

Mid Penn Bank in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking a Commercial Loan Settlement Officer to support the commercial lending team. You will prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of loan documentation, coordinating with attorneys, title companies, and closing agents to deliver timely closings and proper funding.

Qualifications

• B.S. or B.A. degree preferred; paralegal training highly preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) years’ related experience in commercial lending.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting attorney-prepared documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closings with attorneys and title companies to ensure timely mortgage documentation.
• Review loan packages to ensure terms/conditions are met before closing.
• Manage end-to-end loan closing and settlement for commercial loans and facilities.
• Verify accuracy of required documentation (insurance, title, collateral).
• Prepare loan closing documents in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Monitor pipeline to ensure timely closings and maintain high-quality file reviews.
