Job summary

Provident Bank in Port Reading, New Jersey is seeking a CLA Closing Coordinator II to manage SBA, Business Banking, and Middle Market loan closings. You will ensure accurate documentation and seamless closings, working with attorneys and relationship managers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced lending environment, with opportunities to contribute to community-focused banking operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 to 5 years of related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial Loan Closings and ability to apply such knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral scenarios.
• Proficient with software and systems programs (Microsoft Office). Knowledge of LaserPro document preparation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews proposed loan documents for conformance with the loan approval/commitments and coordinates loan setup and wire transfers.
• Coordinates with attorneys, Relationship Managers and other professionals to schedule closings.
• Ensures proper setup of LaserPro and attorney prepared documents for various loan types.
• Post-closing coordination with the post closing administrator and loan operations.
• Confirming loan establishment on the system and coordinating funding with borrowers and related parties.
• Perform due diligence for closings and loan advances, including payments and insurance/tax status.
