Job summary

Mid Penn Bank is seeking a Commercial Loan Settlement Officer to support the commercial lending department by preparing and reviewing loan documentation. The role ensures accuracy, regulatory compliance, and a smooth closing experience for customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities include coordinating closings, resolving documentation discrepancies, and managing end-to-end loan settlement for various commercial loan structures, while maintaining detailed records and supporting audits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with business emphasis; paralegal certification preferred.
• Minimum of four years related experience and understanding of commercial loan products and collateral.
• Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting attorney-prepared legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closings with attorneys and title companies to ensure timely mortgage documentation.
• Resolve discrepancies with lenders, attorneys, and title companies prior to closing.
• Manage end-to-end loan closing and settlement for commercial loans and facilities.
• Review loan packages to ensure terms align with approved credit terms.
• Prepare loan closing documents and ensure accuracy of all disclosures and agreements.
• Monitor pipeline to ensure timely closings and compliance with deadlines.
